Jin's Bottle Babies is a 501c3 Nonprofit in Phoenix, Arizona.
We intake kittens who were orphaned at birth and need bottle feeding in order to survive.
This year we have been able to take in and adopt out 48 kittens which is an outstanding number for an incredibly small team.
Bottlefeeding is a LOT of work. Kittens need to be fed around the clock with the first 2 weeks of life being every three hours or less! Bottle feeders dedicate every second of their day to saving the life of these kittens who are so incredibly vulnerable.
This was our first full as a 501c3 nonprofit and we did outstanding up until the end! Unfortunately, a ringworm outbreak ate up so much of our financial resources. We recently had to spend nearly 1,000 dollars on vet visits, diagnostics, tratment, and more on this outbreak. We DESPERATELY need your help to recoup the money spent to continue to save more lives in 2020!
Our goals for next year include: taking on more foster homes so we can intake more kittens!
We would like to invest in microchips, which is a huge inital investment, but saves money in the long run. We would also love to get financially secure enough to obtain an incubator, which is crucial for keeping the youngest, most vulnerable babies healthy!
An idea of costs:
Vaccines (Including Rabies): $40.00/cat
FIV/FELV testing: $20.00/test/cat
And these are just the vetting costs! Add in essentials such as wet food, dry food, litter, formula, feeding utensils, medical supplies, bedding, hygiene supplies, etc. it adds up quick!
We take such good care of our babies and rescue them with our whole entire hearts. We do everything in our power to make sure once they are Jin's Bottle Babies their life is nothing but sunshine, including stringent screening of applicants to ensure that once they leave our care and are adopted, they are absolutely set for life! Please consider Jin's Bottle Babies as your 2019 Giving Tuesday charity. It takes a village to save these little guys!
