Please support the Lao Heritage Foundation’s Giving Tuesday goal of $5,000. The funds will help us continue increasing access to traditional Lao music and the arts for Lao youths in the U.S. and worldwide to help preserve Lao culture for the next generation.
Traditionally Lao music and cultural traditions are taught orally which means that today, they are in grave danger of fading away. LHF leads the effort to preserve and transmit Lao culture by notating music and producing recordings of our partnering music masters. We aim not only to help preserve the music, but to facilitate the teaching of it as well.
Your gift today will support our crucial programs that expand access to Lao heritage programs, raise awareness of Lao history and culture and safeguard cultural conservation for generations to come.
We currently have programs in 11 states: California, Texas, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, New York, North Carolina, Rhode Island, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut. LHF would like to make it possible for all communities of Lao-Americans to build similar art and music programs.
With your help, we can expand to more communities across America. Join us today to be part of the Lao Heritage Foundation family. Now more than ever, we need to join together in solidarity and make sure that Lao music and the arts can be preserved for the future. Please donate now to celebrate, protect and expand Lao heritage!
The Lao Heritage Foundation is run solely through the generous contribution of volunteers across America and in Laos. Learn more about us and what we do at www.lhfus.org.
