Since its inception, creating a lasting conserve of literature that engages scholars in all forms has been a key part of the mission of the American Society for Group Psychotherapy and Psychodrama (ASGPP). The Journal of Psychodrama, Sociometry, and Group Psychotherapy, presently in a digital format, is a successful reflection of how ASGPP has adapted over time to reflect the changes of technology and academic arenas on scholarly publications. Despite challenges and changes, The Journal, as it is most often called among ASGPP members, continues to be a vital source for sharing the work of those practicing Psychodrama and Sociodrama worldwide.
Preserving a level of academic quality and providing access of our scholarship to the public remains a priority for ASGPP. This requires us to be regularly informed of the trends in publications and to invest in tools that ensures our work is accessible to those seeking it and the articles are indexed as publications of high academic quality.
To offset the cost of these resources and tools, ASGPP is holding a Giving Tuesday fundraising campaign to raise money to continue the work of increasing the access and visibility of our scholarship to others in the world. Our goal is to raise $10,000, the total amount we have determined is needed to continue our publication efforts.
We are asking you to please support our campaign by making a donation, directly, through our GoFundMe page, via mail, or by sharing our page with your friends, family, and community.
You can also visit our website at www.asgpp.org and click on donate. All donations, in any amount, are accepted and greatly appreciated. As ASGPP is a tax exempt, non-profit, charitable organization that falls under section 501(c)(3), your donations will be considered deductible contributions for your taxes.
