Albany Adult & Teen Challenge:
“Give Hope Through Help ”With over 270 million people struggling with addiction in the world, and over 20 million of them in the US, there’s an exceptional need for restorative transformation. Since 1958, Teen Challenge has been dedicated to the demographic that struggles with addiction and the hardest life controlling issues. We all know someone who is battling with the grips of drug addiction or alcoholism. At this time in history we are encouraged to unite and help each other more than ever. The way that happens is by supporting “HOPE THROUGH HELP”. By giving someone hope again, you’re helping to instill in them a new outlook on life. You will allow them to encounter people who will show them the love and compassion they so desperately need. How can you do that being home?
HELP - New York Adult & Teen Challenge is a 9-12 month residential care facility that helps both men and women ages 18 and over. They teach a character and leadership based curriculum, encouraging and supporting their students to follow a sustainable, and healthy lifestyle. This is done through mentoring, community, relationships, new behavior patterns, and a structured program, producing a true life change from their past.
Much of the typical sources for funding has been put at a standstill due to the COVID-19 outbreak. We are asking for you to unite with us to continue to keep the heartbeat of financial funding going. This way, we can provide all the necessary food, supplies, and resources we need to our current students, as well as the future students that will be coming in. Your contribution will be the blessing that will HELP restore HOPE!! We thank you in advance for your consideration and look forward to sharing the report of God’s goodness.
