I was diagnosed with primary mediastinal diffuse large b-cell lymphoma non-hodgkins in April 2018. The only sympotms I had were a cough and some increased pressure in my chest. The weekend before I was diagnosed I was climbing and camping in St. George. This past year I've been through 6 rounds of dose adjusted R-EPOCH chemotherapy and 15 rounds of low dose radiation. I had to stop working, I lost all my hair, and I won't know if I'm lymphoma free until mid December. The LLS gave me research based evidence when I had to make the decision to do radiation and also research on why this terrible thing happened to me. We didn't do much adventureing during treatment so we're starting to make up for it now and can't wait to hit the slopes in Deer Valley for such a gretaat cause.
