We Support Socio-Economic Empowerment in The Democratic Republic of the Congo By Providing STEM Scholarships to Qualified Students.
You Can Help Us Support Education, Research, and Entrepreneurship to Empower Socio-Economic Transformation in One of the Poorest Countries in the World. Together We Can Raise Up The Entire Nation to Create A Brighter Future for all Congolese People
Provide STEM Education to Worthy Congolese Students. We Also Provide Mentoring, and Entrepreneurial Assistance.
Limited educational opportunity prevents the DRC from developing as it should. One of the richest countries in the world in terms of natural resources is one of the poorest in terms of economic development.
Outside a few modern cities, there is virtually no government infrastructure. Isolation breeds lawlessness, poverty, and myriad abuses for the disconnected and underserved people in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC). Child labor practices in cobalt mining border on slavery.
Evidence demonstrates that support for Higher Education can help a nation solve social problems.
The STEM DRC Initiative Awards Scholarships because education provides the means of empowerment for social and economic development. Human capital formation leads to social transformation.
Long Term Impacts are Socio-Economic Development, Social Entrepreneurship, Smart Villages, and Ethical Industry to End to Human Rights Abuses.
In the year 2020: We want to award 100 scholarships. By the year 2030: 700 well-trained scientists will be working in the DRC!
