Please help us ‘Give a Child a Hand’.
Giovanna is a recipient of our children’s ‘Myoelectric Limb Project’ that provides myoelectric prosthetics to children missing upper limbs at birth, due to accident or disease, from ages 6 months to 18 yrs. Giovanna is a 14-year-old teen who loves her new prosthetic Hero Arm. Born without her right arm below the elbow, Giovanna now plays the violin, rock climbs competitively, rides her bike and is a self-proclaimed book nerd. The Hero Arm gives this energetic teen the ability to do even more things better. She shares her love by making a heart shape with ‘two’ hands.
Every year Saratoga Inner Wheel raises funds to provide arms and hands for children. Prosthetic limbs can be quite expensive but when Inner Wheel pays for their child’s limb it is a huge help to families. Your donations will help us to continue providing limbs for these children now and through all stages of their growth.

Inner Wheel partners with Hanger Clinic who make the limbs for the children that includes 3 separate fittings to complete the limb, then they give ongoing care and support as the child grows to their adult B-bionic arm. In addition, Hanger provides the limbs to Inner Wheel at cost. Due to Hanger Clinic’s generosity, your will be .
