COVID19 has affected all of us in ways we never dared envision. Our financial security, our social structures, our lives and even the foundation of our society have been rocked by the effects of this virus. No one has escaped. This is as true at Field Day of the Past as elsewhere. In a year when we are faced with the loss of our lease and the search for a new home for all of our historic collections, and to ensure to future of an event which has educated and entertained generations of vistors, we are being crippled by the coronovirus. Not only are volunteers unable to carry out the daily tasks on the grounds in preparation for the annual show in September, but all fundraising events have come to a screeching halt. Revenue has fallen almost 50 percent, while our expenses remain at the same level. Sponsors are hesitant to commit to funds without means to forsee their financial futures. School field trips to educate our youth and Outreach programs to offer our history lessons are no longer viable options for our programming.
We are asking that you Give 10! -- just $10 to aid us in our fight to continue our work. We understand that this may be a big ask for some families, but, if you are able to give, we appreciate. Every person counts. Every dollar helps. These funds will be dedicated soley to the purpose of moving and preserving Field Day of the Past's assets for the future. Help us preserve that future.
