Take on the #GiveItUp4Peace challenge with PeaceGeeks to support refugees and immigrants in British Columbia build a life in their new home, in the face of Coronavirus.
This November, you'll give up one thing for the entire month to stand with those who have given up everything to start a new life in Canada. Whether it’s your morning bagel, Netflix binges, caffeine, online shopping—anything you enjoy on a regular basis— giving it up for just one month could make all the difference to a newcomer during their settlement journey in this uncertain time.
By joining the 30-day challenge, you will be supporting PeaceGeeks to adapt existing tools, such as Arrival Advisor, and explore creating new resources, for newcomers feeling the impact of COVID-19. It's easy to get involved:
Choose: Pick something you’ll give up for the month of November

Your participation helps our work supporting refugees and immigrants in B.C., and the funds you raise contribute to our work guiding newcomers through their resettlement journey during the pandemic.
This is also a great opportunity to challenge yourself to go without one of the small luxuries we often take for granted.
