We began this fundraiser back in 2010. I had 3 girls on the team whose dads were fighting some sort of cancer. When an individual is fighting cancer, it’s not just that person suffering, it is all the people who surround that one person, a wife, a child, parents, friends, co-workers, a team. It is a ripple effect from that family. This was a way the girls and I could to show love and compassion to the girls on our team and their families. Raising awareness to the people in this community, helping those who are in our everyday lives.
This year we are raising money on behalf of 3 year old Klay Branderhorst who was recently diagnosed with a grade 4 brain tumor.
