In early 2018, CITTA will build the Rani Ratnavati Girls School and Women’s Cooperative in Jaisalmer, India. With your contributions, 400 girls will be offered a formal education while over 45 women are trained in heritage embroidery and crafts—traditional techniques which are at risk of being lost. The center will support the women in forming a cooperative—to sell their work both locally and abroad. Within a few years, the project will become self-sustaining.
