Ginger's & Paul's Wedding Registry

We are so excited to celebrate our wedding with our family and friends! Your warmth and kindess mean the world to us.

We are very fortunate to have all that we could need to start our married lives together. Therefore, rather than a gift registry, we are hosting a registry to support three nonprofit organizations that are near and dear to us. We are so grateful for any gift to them in our honor.

The organizations are as follows. You can direct a donation to any of them through this wedding registry. For information on tax deductibility, please visit here.

Harmony House for Cats: We are both animal lovers. We love all animals - but especially cats! We have two cats of our own, Indi and Roscoe, both of whom we adopted. They bring us so much joy and companionship. This is why we selected Harmony House for Cats. Animal Protective Association's Harmony House for Cats is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing the highest quality care for cats and kittens in the Chicago area until they find an adoptive home. Every new admission receives comprehensive veterinary care before adoption, and Harmony House's homelike environment allows the cats and kittens to roam and play and allows future adoptive parents to interact with and get to know the cats and kittens.

RefugeeOne:  We live in Uptown, Chicago, a diverse and welcoming neighborhood, and our lives are richer because of this community. This is why we selected RefugeeOne. RefugeeOne is a nonprofit focused on assisting refugees in becoming independent, self-supporting members of their new communities. It is based in, and is an important part of, our Uptown neighborhood. Every year, RefugeeOne resettles hundreds of individuals fleeing war, persecution, violence, and genocide from around the world. Resettlement is often a difficult and stressful process. RefugeeOne's full range of coordinated services equip refugees with the support and skills necessary to rebuild their lives.

National Forest Foundation:  We love the outdoors and being in nature. We find serenity in hiking and exploring the woods, and we're so excited to host our wedding in the Red River Gorge, a part of the Daniel Boone National Forest and one of our very favorite places! This is why we selected the National Forest Foundation. The National Forest Foundation is the nonprofit partner of the U.S. Forest Service, which works to promote the health and public enjoyment of the nation's 193-million-acre National Forest System. Its efforts include on-the-ground restoration of national forests and their trails, collaborative conservation, and engagement of communities with their forests.

We understand that giving to nonprofit organizations is often a personal matter, so if you would prefer to give a gift to the organization of your choosing in our honor, we will be just as grateful.

Of course, all that we really ask is for you to join us in celebrating our wedding day!

With love,

Ginger and Paul
