Rabbi Neil Gillman inspired thousands of people to develop their own relationship with the Divine. So many of us who came through the halls of JTS and now work in the Jewish community continues to be inspired by his ideas and writings.
At Ramah in the Rockies, we hope to continue Rabbi Gillman's spirit by naming our Theology Trail in his memory. The pictures here are some of the signs we already have commissioned on this trail. With permission from the Gillman family, we are inviting any student of Rabbi Gillmans to commission a sign to be added to the trail. The sign should be a single concept of the Divine based in Jewish texts and will be added to the trail in the 2020 season. We expect this trail to become a core part of our Ramah camp and continue to inspire the next generation of Jewish leaders for decades to come.
Mounted signs cost $54 (please use the custom amount when submitting payment on the next screen). Signs can be in English or Hebrew, or both. Once you donate through GoFundMe, we will send you a link to a form to submit your sign. We will set typefaces to ensure that all look uniform. The deadline for submission is April 15, 2020.
(We are only looking to cover the costs involved in printing the signs, not to fundraise additional dollars for camp). Anyone who studied with or has been inspired by Rabbi Gillman is welcome to join in this project. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or give us a call 303 261 8220 if you have specific questions. We will also share the names of all donors with the Gillman family.
