In 2003 Community 4:12 re-imagined Charitable generosity at Christmastime by hosting it's first Giftmart providing the parents of Giftmart's partner schools the opportunity to choose gifts for their children at a discounted price of $2 per toy. Long after the remote control car breaks and Lego pieces are lost, Giftmart continues to benefit communities by reinvesting all proceeds, nearly $200,000 over the past 16 years, into local schools.
With the addition of our 11th partner school, we anticipate serving 2,000 families in Joliet, East Aurora, Naperville and Chicago in December. This will require more than 13,000 toys to stock the Giftmart shelves. Join us as we use toys to bring joy, safeguard dignity and increase educational funding in under-resourced neighborhoods in our community. As Community 4:12 underwrites all administrative costs of the event, all donations will be used to purchase toys.
Thank you again for partnering with us as we work to make toys do MORE this Christmas season.
