There is an urgent need to collect gift cards for military families in Wisconsin. We have received phone calls and spoken with families who are concerned about paying rent, buying groceries, and having enough money to buy fuel for their cars so that they can get to work. The Coast Guard may not receive their next paycheck and we want to make sure communities in Wisconsin are able to take care of military who could use some help.
USO Wisconsin has similar programs where we collect gift cards for military families in need around the holidays. USO Wisconsin has programs 365 days a year to help military stay connected with their families and help relieve stress.
Please donate to this campaign and 100% of the money will go towards buying gift cards to help military. Or you can purchase gift cards and send them to the USO Wisconsin administrative office. Gift cards should be in denominations of $20 or less. Preferred gift cards would be from stores that offer food and other essential items or gas stations (Walmart, Costco, Target, Meijer's, Mobile, Pick N Save, etc). They can be dropped off or mailed to:
USO Wisconsin, 750 N. Lincoln Memorial Dr.
Milwaukee, WI 53202
Service members from each of the five military branches - Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force and Coast Guard - risk their lives for our freedoms, while their families make sacrifices every day. USO Wisconsin supports currently serving military from all branches of service in Wisconsin, by keeping them connected to family, home and country.
USO Wisconsin is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. USO Wisconsin does not receive federal or military funding. USO Wisconsin is financially independent and we rely on individuals like you in our efforts to continue our support of service members and families who live in, travel through or visit Wisconsin.
With our growing relationship within the different military branches, we have been involved in more deployments, welcome homes and unit events over the past couple of years, and want to continue this tradition for many years to come. When military members and their families support, they call USO. When the community wants to thank military and show their support, they call USO. Please consider donating today to show your support of those individuals, and their families, who have served our nation.
