Bright Pink helps to save lives from breast and ovarian cancer by empowering women to know their risk and manage their health proactively. Our goal is to become the most trusted resource for the understanding of breast and ovarian cancer risk.
With a focus on health rather than cancer, Bright Pink inspires women to make behavior changes that can greatly improve their lives. Through innovative digital tools and constituent centric marketing, we engage women in educational experiences to help them understand their risk and personalize their prevention plan. We leverage strategic media and brand partnerships to deliver these programs to women where they are, on their terms, and in their language.
When Bright Pink was founded in 2007, there were virtually no resources available for women with strong genetic or family histories of breast and ovarian cancer who wanted to be proactive about preventing a diagnosis. What started as a website and support network for high-risk women evolved into a national organization focused on meeting young women where they are—online, at their doctor’s office, at school, in their workplace, and in their communities— with the actionable information they need to understand their risk and take appropriate action to reduce their risk. In the 12 years since Bright Pink’s founding, the organization’s efforts have helped reach over 1.5 million women to date and shifted the national conversation around breast and ovarian cancer from one focused on awareness and treatment to one focused on action and prevention.
