The Greene Emergency Squad will soon be denied the use of its oldest heart monitor. The heart monitor that we currently have in one of our ambulances is over ten years old; this monitor will no longer be compliant with FDA regulations after January 2021. As a result, we will be required to purchase a new heart monitor before the end of this year.
A new heart monitor costs $35,000.
The Greene Emergency Squad is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation. We do not receive any taxpayer money, funding from the State of New York, or funding from the Town or Village of Greene to operate. Donations from people like you can help us cover the big expenses, like a new heart monitor. Your donation is tax deductible.
We thank you for your continued support of the Greene Emergency Squad and we look forward to continuing to serve our community as we have since our inception in 1947.
