COVID-19 has adversely affected many arts organizations. Georgia Philharmonic is no exception. We have had to cancel three concerts. This affects our orchestra and the musicians who rely on it as a source of income.
Your Support Matters Now More Than Ever!
Music transcends all boundaries. It has the power to unite. It brings us together in celebration, comforts us in times of trouble, and surrounds us with joy. The Georgia Philharmonic is your orchestra. We bring music to our community. Our success would not be possible without the generous support of people like you. It is only through your support that, for 35 years, the Georgia Philharmonic has engaged thousands of people and continues to fulfill our mission to enrich the lives of its musicians and the community by presenting spirited, high-quality performances of ambitious orchestral music in an innovative, educational, and entertaining format.
Georgia Philharmonic connects all of us through
. Inspiring concerts at Lassiter Concert Hall
. The Samuel Fordis Young Artists Concerto Competition which has recognized outstanding young musicians and given them an opportunity to perform with an orchestra for the past ten years.
. Outreach performances at Northside Hospital and senior communities
. Educational programs for students in Fulton and Cobb counties
. Exciting performances at DragonCon
Since 1985, Georgia Philharmonic has been building and strengthening our community through the beauty of music. Your contribution matters now more than ever. With unprecedented cancelations due to the COVID-19 virus, we will depend on our dedicated friends to sustain the orchestra until normal operations resume.
