South Carolina is one of the highest states for animal overpopulation. Greenville County Animal Care, alone takes in up to 20,000 animals every year. In 2018, they took 50-75 animals in DAILY. These are the heartwrenching statistics of just ONE shelter in our local community. Auction for a Kaws is an annual event in which all proceeds from the silent auction, as well as the live bachelor/bachelorette auction, go directly to local 501c3 rescues. These rescues include some of the most hardworking, dedicated and life changing groups in the Greenville and surrounding areas. Auction for a Kaws believes that these groups are making a huge impact on changing the lives for local dogs, cats and wildlife.
I have chosen to take part in the support of this organization by being a "bachelor" for the upcoming auction. I am asking for all of my friends, family members and acquaintances to donate to this amazing local cause. As many of you know, my wife and I have been fostering dogs and cats for over 5 years. We are willing to take on the "hard" cases. The cases most normal foster families and households cannot. We won't be able to continue to help these animals without the assistance of the local rescue groups we work with. These rescues won't be able to continue to provide the life saving care without financial assistance.
Please consider just a $5 or $10 donation. A real life example of what your donation could cover for 1 kitten:
$5 is a vaccination
$20 is a month of dewormer
$65 sponsors one spay/neuter
$100 covers the vetting of one kitten.
Thank you all for your support!
