GenR: LA Transportation Support
As many know, the challenges of a daily commute in Los Angeles is a fact of life. Many newly resettled refugees are unable to purchase cars to make their commutes easier and rely on public transportation to get to doctor appointments, important interviews, new jobs, and school.
With your support, newly arrived refugees will use the crowdsourced funds for transportation expenses, such as public transport passes, a bicycle, or rainy day Lyft or Uber car service.
Please help us to reach (or better yet, exceed) our goal of $3,000, which will ensure each client will benefit with a $200 Transportation credit.

International Rescue Committee is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization IRC - Los Angeles (Donation Beneficiary)
Our work provides opportunities for refugees, asylees, victims of human trafficking, survivors of torture, and other immigrants to thrive in America. These individuals have survived against incredible odds. The IRC works with government bodies, civil society actors, and local volunteers to help them translate their past experiences into assets that are valuable to their new communities. In Los Angeles and other offices across the country, the IRC helps them to rebuild their lives.
Thank you so much for your support and contribution for this important cause.
