Gatsby is one of the happiest & loving frenchies you will ever come across. His favorite hobbies include going to the dog beach, attending yappy hours, and meeting up with his friends around Chicago. Unfortunately, all of that came to a halt in the summer of 2020 when he suddenly became very sick. After numerous vet visits and emotional roller coasters, Gatsby was diagnosed with Stage IV Lymphoma. The news was devastating for all of those close to Gatsby, but he was able to begin chemotherapy and continues to fight every day.
Lymphoma is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in dogs and currently has no cure. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) has found that dogs & humans respond similarly to lymphoma treatments and have made it their mission to find a cure and make the process better for impacted familiar – humans and dogs! Gatsby and his mom, Erica, have made it their mission to help support LLS as much as they can so that one day dogs like Gatsby will have a chance to be cancer free!
After hearing Gatsby’s heartbreaking story, Erica’s MBA group jumped into action to help! For their final project, they have made raising money for LLS their goal. Through this page we hope to provide aid to LLS and spread the word on the great work they do!
