Gander Brook Christian Camp is a non-profit organization that has been serving the youth of New England for 65 years. It provides a safe, fun, uplifting, and supportive Christian atmosphere for young people. It is a place full of fond memories for all who have attended.
Gander Brook's mission has always been to bring young people to know Christ and to form a lifelong relationship with God through Bible study and fun activities. The Gander Brook Board of Directors have always tried very hard to make it affordable for all campers who attend. This has been made possible by our countless volunteer staff.
Our volunteer staff is comprised of professional adults who believe in Gander Brook's mission so deeply that they give up their summer vacations to serve at camp. They staff the kitchen and infirmary, teach Bible classes, teach merit badges, do maintenance, laundry, canteen and drive the bus. Most of these volunteers will stay in the old dorm which for the past 10 years has been in dire need of replacement.
We need your help in replacing the dorm. The Gander Brook Board has consulted with builders, donors, Gander Brookers, regulators, and many others to put together the current plan. The replacement for the old dorm will include a small apartment for a caretaker, winterized and heated rooms for use in the winter, a great room for gatherings, greatly upgraded bathroom facilities, and a bit more privacy and soundproofing between rooms. The winterized Dorm will open up Gander Brook to winter retreats and getaways. We have currently raised a signicant amount of money through the generosity of donors but we still need to raise an additional $200,000 to make this new dorm a reality.
Will you please partner with us and "Give Back to Gander Brook" by donating to our Dorm Replacement fund? Your generous donation, no matter what size, will greatly impact this generation of campers and future generations to come. Thank you for your consideration.
