We will have food, drinks and most importantly games. Get ready to compete in games of Jenga, Monopoly, Battleship, Cards Against Humanity, Scrabble, Trouble and many more! And there's even a photo booth!
Entrance to the happy hour requires a donation of at least $10 to the Red Cross. Also, $1 for each drink sold will go to the Red Cross. The Red Cross will also be onsite to answer questions and provide details on volunteer and additional donation opportunities.
Residents along the Eastern and Southern coasts experienced an unprecedented level of storm activity this year as Hurricanes Florence and Michael ravaged homes, displaced thousands of people, and tore apart lives. We want to support victims of these natural disasters by raising awareness and support in an engaging manner without trivializing the those directly impacted. Our goal is to provide comfort during an unthinkable time by putting a smile on those affected by the hurricanes. What better way than camaraderie with a good drink and games? Through a leadership development class with the University of Maryland's Part-time MBA Program, our goal is raise money and awareness for those affected by Hurricanes Florence and Michael by hosting a game night in the D.C. area. The group will ask all attendees to "pay admission" by donating funds to the Red Cross.
