In 2017 and 2018, National Grid Employees raised an incredible total of over $23,000!! This year our goal is $10,000!! The USDA estimates that 42 million people, including 13 million children, in the United States were food insecure in 2015. That means 1 in 8 individuals (13.4%), and 1 in 6 children (17.9%), lived in households without consistent access to adequate food. Long Island alone has 170,000 residents who are food insecure. Bread Run Corp is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded by students to help raise funds to fight hunger in local communities. Our mission is to spread the power of giving through live games and competition! We hope to see you there to help us fight hunger in our community! Let’s Dough It! To find out more visit www.breadrun.org.
