Last July our family took my Aunt and Uncles invitation to join them for a service project they have been involved in for many years in Guatemala. After much debate, we decided to take the whole family. It was a very eye opening experience for not only Claudine and I but our young kids who haven't experienced the extreme poverty present in so much of the world. During our days with God's Child we were able to help the staff in Casa Jackson with malnourished infants, visit and play with the kids in school, and help build a small house for a family in the mountains outside Antiqua. This trip truly changed us. We continue to support the project, but realize that during this unprecedented time of pandemic, they need more. They have zero margin of error for the basics and go from just barely making it to not very quickly. We have created this page to reach out to our friends and family to ask for a little more help for so many of the wonderful human beings we were priveliged to meet and work with while there.
