Gabriel Mandel was a world traveller, successful entrepreneur, and philanthropist who possessed a rare ability to connect with, collect and curate people into an ever-expansive tribe of amazing humans.
If we measured wealth by the quality and quantity of an individual’s friendships, Gabe might have been the world’s wealthiest man.
His goal in life was to play and win the game of capitalism, help as many people as possible, and die penniless.
Sharyn Gobele Primary School was the dream of Gabriel's mother; one he and his family fulfilled in her honour after she passed away in 2013. His mother's dream became Gabe's life mission. He wanted to demonstrate the impact that sustained investment in a single community can have.
Many have asked us how they can honour the man countless people the world over knew and loved. This is one powerful and meaningful way. Donate any amount of your choosing to help Sharyn Gobele Primary School and the entire community of Gobele, Ethiopia continue to thrive.
In tribute to Gabe, all donations made will support the Imagine 1 Day and WE Charity projects in Ethiopia.
