Both Cody and Lily came to us from Furkids. They had very different journeys, but we know they were meant to be ours.
Lily was quite ill and needed a lot of medical attention. Furkids was not afraid to make sure she had the heartworm treatment she needed and as we hapily foster-failed, Lily got the other medical support she needed in order to become the happy healthy girl we know her to be.
Cody, our danger noodle, has some serious special needs. He is a neurological wonder and we love all his -isms.
He and Lily have decided to take over my Give Atlanta Challenge campaign this year. It has become the #makecodyfamous campaign. If we raise enough money, we are hoping Furkids will consider his adorable face in their marketing pieces or ads SOMEWHERE - I mean, how could they not!
Please support Furkids and Cody and Lily.
More about Furkids,.. the serious stuff:
Furkids is a sanctuary for homeless animals and people who love them. We rescue defenseless animals; provide medical care, emotional nurturing, and training; and match them with families in forever homes. Our volunteer programs provide healing and growth for people who are strengthened by the human-animal bond.
How You Can Help
All are welcome at Furkids. We depend on our network of adopters, fosters, volunteers, donors, and thrift store patrons, so join our family today. We offer a wide variety of programs and opportunities for people of all ages to get involved with animals in need. Come socialize with our animals through the FurTales reading program, join our foster program to help provide a temporary loving home, or join our TransFur team to help transport animals to our northern no-kill shelter partners. If you’re ready to make the commitment to adopt, we encourage you to visit our shelters or many adoption centers to meet our cats and dogs. Additionally, you can visit our three thrift store locations in Peachtree Corners, Lawrenceville, or Marietta. Help us connect people with animals to save lives.
