The "Better Together" family program is a weekly home-visiting program for moms with little ones under 5 years old. IRC's Parent Support Program Specialist visits newcomer moms to provide support around early learning, early childhood development, the importance of learning at home, stress reduction and positive parenting. Moms enrolled in the program also have the opportunity to attend at least two field trips to learn about toddler friendly spaces in their community, meet other newcomer moms and build relationships.
