Traditionally, the mission of The Fuller Center of Greater NY is to eliminate poverty housing by building simple, decent homes for low-income families. That is until disaster strikes...
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Fuller Center DART (Disaster Assistance Recovery Team) has sprung to action.
Our team, which has responded to the floods in Mamaroneck, Hurricane Sandy and many other times of extreme need, is once again active and helping. In disaster response, everyone is unique and vital, from helping with food distribution to being there for families in need.
Over the past weeks we have given out food to restaurant workers, laborers and their families. We’ve supported a number of our Fuller Center families in Yonkers and beyond with food and supplies.
