On November 7th, join us for the Fort Langley Walk4Water to walk a mile in the shoes of a child living in water poverty.
We'll gather at Living Waters Church (9095 Glover Rd, Langley City) at 10:00 AM in Fort Langley, for this social distanced, COVID aware event. Each person will pick up an empty Jerry Can to carry approximately 1.5 km to the river where we'll fill them up and then walk the long route back. This is a simple exercise in empathy that will give you an insight into the daily lives of 1 in 4 Ugandans.
Right now, we're raising money to deliver the benefits of clean, fresh water to 3,200 people in Muhaha, Uganda. While there's no registration fee for this event, we would love it if you could donate HERE. Alternatively, sign up as a monthly member HERE for as little as $5 a month.
Through the Walk4Water, you will get to experience just a small part of what millions of Ugandans are going through every day just to fetch dirty water from the swamp.
We can't wait to see you and Walk4Water together!
