Many of you are aware of the devastating fires that are claiming the lives of many different animals in Australia – Koalas, kangaroos, wallabies and many other iconic wildlife. 480 million animals have been killed by fire in NSW alone. Have you wanted to help but you weren’t sure where to start? After speaking with Sammi, she wanted to try and raise money to give a donation to www.wwf.org WWF is taking donations, example of what will be covered is below: · $50.00 – help plant the first 10k urgently needed trees in koala habitat · $75.00 – help provide emergency care and medicine for injured koalas affected by fires · $100.00 – help protect existing forest and woodland, and the wild life that lives there · $150.00 – help pressure governments to strengthen laws that prevent excessive tree clearing FSAC will be collecting money to make one big donation over the next week. If you would like to participate please give your donation by Thursday January 16th. Once all of the funds have been added up we will send a follow up email with the final amount donated. Every little bit counts and will help the animals!
