Healthcare workers, law enforcement, public transit workers - everyone - is short of face masks that provide adequate protection from COVID-19 and its transmission.
At Bridge To Cures, we are social entrepreneurs who enable inventors to turn their health care innovations into products that address unmet medical needs. We believe innovation is most effective when social impact and financial return go hand-in-hand.
Our non-profit is committed to return to the values that once shaped healthcare. As part of that commitment, we are funding projects that produce masks rapidly for frontline workers during this pandemic. Our work not only supports these workers, but also supports healthcare innovation in southeast Wisconsin.
Currently, we are working on two masks. Each of them costs $25 to manufacture. The masks are designed to exacting specifications for heavy-duty use by frontline workers. We are working to make the designs public so that others can manufacture more masks rapidly. In addition, we are working with children's hospitals to make the masks available in different sizes to those in need.
Every $25 we can raise through your donations helps us produce one more mask, which will help one more of these heroes do their difficult jobs. It will also support the kind of healthcare innovation that led to these masks, since that is the mission of Bridge To Cures. Please contribute as generously as you can. Every dollar you contribute goes entirely towards the cost of producing these masks and supporting innovation. Your donations are tax-deductible. Thank you.
