The Dog Jog will be "open" from 8 a.m. Monday, Sept. 21 until 5 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 26
To participate, register any time between now and 5 p.m. Sept. 19th. When you are ready to walk/jog, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org listing your start time. You may choose to walk/jog the traditional course in White Rock, try our new 2-mile course option in Los Alamos (maps will be posted on this page as well as Facebook prior to Sept. 21st)...or, you can decide to take your dog(s) on another 2-mile journey of your choice! Whatever you do, we hope you have fun and we appreciate your support of our mission! And of course we welcome your participation even if you prefer to walk/jog dogless.
Optional: Send us a picture of you and your dog on the course, for posting on our smugmug site.
All participants who register will receive a t-shirt, even if they choose not to participate in the virtual walk/jog. If you would like a long-sleeve shirt, this is an additional $10 donation.
Dog Jog Prizes
All participants (those who registered and then emailed a start time to email@example.com) will be eligible for prizes. The prizes will be awarded at a random drawing held on Zoom on Sunday, September 27 at 5 p.m. All participants will receive an email with the link for the Zoom prize ceremony, but you need not be present to win.
Prizes will be delivered or mailed to winners. We will notify all registrants by email when shirts are available for pick up at Pet Pangaea. If you cannot pick up your shirt, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will get your t-shirt to you. You only have to register (don’t have to participate in the virtual walk) to get a t-shirt; you have to register AND participate (email your walk start time) to be eligible for prizes.
