Help us to maintain our Nation's oldest living legacy to her Medal of Honor Recipients during the COVID-19 crisis.
We kindly ask that you join us , the Friends of the Medal of Honor Grove, in supporting and honoring our country's 3507 Medal of Honor recipients. The Medal of Honor Grove is the nation's oldest living memorial dedicated to all MoH recipients and is located on the campus of Freedoms Foundation in Valley Forge, PA. The Friends of the Medal of Honor Grove's mission is to maintain, enhance and improve this living legacy for every Medal of Honor recipient; the Grove is 40+ acres of natural woodland. Within the Grove, each state and US Territory are recognized with an obelisk and ground plaques noting each state or territory's Medal of Honor recipients. The Friends are an all-volunteer organization and rely heavily on volunteers and financial donations to help in our mission. Due to the COVID-19 virus restrictions, we have been unable to have community groups, individuals, schools, companies etc schedule Community Service Days to help us with clean-up efforts. The storm this past week downed many trees within the 40+ acre Grove -- we need financial support to help us maintain the Grove as the living legacy it is for these brave men (and one woman) who earned the Medal of Honor.
Your gift will help provide immediate financial support so we can continue our mission and ensure that this living memorial remains a safe and tranquil legacy to the recipients of our nation's highest military honor: the Congressional Medal of Honor. Thank you.
