Stand With Us to #EndPoliceTerror
This group, initiated by a group of Chemonics employees, is calling for both individuals and the organizations they work for within international development to stand up and support the concrete the actions Raheem takes to bring justice to victims and address police brutality against Black people in America. It doesn’t have to be a lot….$5, $10. Every bit counts. And even if you want to donate anonymously, please put your organization's name so we can show how the international development community is supporting Raheem. Standing together, we win.
Raheem was founded by Brandon Anderson after he lost his life partner to police violence during a routine traffic stop, Raheem is bringing justice to victims and change to police behaviors. The officer who killed Brandon’s partner had a history of violence but had never been reported. Brandon founded Raheem because only 5% of police violence is reported. And because racist policing can’t stand up to the light of day.
Raheem is the first independent online service for reporting police abuse. There are thousands of reports from hundreds of cities. But RAHEEM needs to reach more communities.
Today, we are asking you and your organizations to join us in being the hand of justice.
So, how about it –
Do you want to hold the police accountable?
Do you want to fight back against police misconduct?
Do you want to provide tools that can save lives during encounters with the police?
Then today – right now – stand with us.
Join or give to our team that is raising money to end police terror. Be a part of the movement of people coming together all over the country.
