Ainsley's Angels is super excited to advocate through execution every day and very proud of Erin and Ethan. Enjoy this note they shared with us about their "why"!
Friends & Family- This photo was taken a few years ago at the finish line of a 10k in Omaha, NE. We started the race at the very back of the pack as we the only father & son team with a running chair. Within the first mile of the race we were able to get around some other runners and as we passed each runner I would tell Ethan "Great job! We passed another runner!". Ethan would then lean back in the push-chair with his hand up for a high-5! We pulled over about 15 yards from the finish line, got Ethan on his feet and then ran across the finish line together! We still love to run and we don't let Down Syndrome or Autism get in our way... especially when we're outside running together! Ethan is 14 years old now and has out grown 2 push-chairs in our approximately 8 years running together. Now, at 4'10" and 90 pounds we are hoping to get him the Freedom Push Chair that will keep him comfortable and safe! This Freedom Push Chair will be put to great use and hope that you will help keep us running together for great causes and great health & spirit!
With love... Erin & Ethan
Together, we shall make this a reality! .
