Hello everyone, since starting our 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization called the "Foster Army Animal Rescue" (FAAR) in 2016, our mission from the beginning is to save all the animals by rescuing the most vulnerable, at-risk, misfit pets at the shelters and finding them their forever homes. We dedicate ourselves to healing animals both physically, emotionally and focus on treating vulnerable at-risk companion animals by concentrating on making humane and ethical decisions that prepare them for long term placement in responsible homes. These animals and their well being is the primary purpose that ties us together.
Unfortunately, due to the drastic worldwide crisis of COVID-19, our thrift shop located in Riverside, California called the "Foster Army Animal Rescue Thrift Store" needed to be closed down temporarily. Due to this, we have been living through hardship in maintaining our loving foster adoption home and taking care of these animals. We rely on the generosity of donors and the money that comes from the sales from our thrift store to keep supporting these animals, and because of the situation of this pandemic and the temporary shutdown of our thrift store, obtaining money to keep supporting our animals and mission have been very stressful and hard for us.
100% of the money raised on GoFundMe will go towards medical expenses, food, shelter and care for our animals while preparing them to be the perfect pet for their future family. Every single dollar counts and this money will allow our nonprofit to remain giving our foundling animals care and a home in times like these.
In fact, we recently rescued a cat named Cinnamon on April 28 who unfortunately had a fractured leg that requires surgery. Money raised through GoFundMe will go towards animals like Cinnamon that require surgery and continued recovery.
Any funds or even a share are greatly appreciated in this donation. The Foster Army Animal Rescue and our furry babies thank you from the bottom of all our hearts. Every donation is thanked with a kiss from a wet nose in appreciation of being part of their path to find their permanent home. We thank you all so much.
