Children in the Philippines who live in extreme poverty lack access to quality healthcare. They are often denied assistance.
Heniesy is an 8-year-old girl who was born with hydrocephalus. She lives with her parents and two siblings in the Philippines.
She weighs about 26 pounds (12 kgs) and doctors have told her parents she is malnourished. Their monthly income is only around US$60 so they are unable to afford the additional nutrition she needs to gain weight. Sometimes her mother does laundry for her neighbors but it is still not enough. When they cannot buy her formula, they give her rice water as this is all they have.
We want to be able to provide Heniesy with PediaSure, Reliv, diapers, vitamins and wipes. Can you help us raise the funds needed?
