Children in the Philippines who live in extreme poverty lack access to quality healthcare. They are often denied assistance and are unable to afford necessities to improve their quality of life.
Rhainier is a 3-year-old boy from the Philippines. He has Microcephaly and Cerebral Palsy.
His mother is a housewife. His father is a janitor. When Manila went into " forced community quarantine" or lockdown, he lost his job. He now sells duck eggs in the street as their only income. He earns roughly $4 USD. His mother says that it's enough to provide for their daily meals. His older brother had to quit school and the only work he can do is construction, which isn't regular. If he gets work, he earns $6 USD/day. His mother says that they don't have any funds to provide for Rhainier's special needs.
She has requested Milk/formula, diapers, wipes, toothpaste and extra nutrition to help them get through this period.
Can you help us provide comfort to Rhainier?
