Political campaigns are uniquely vulnerable
Campaigns often form quickly, operate on a tight budget, incorporate many moving parts, and have varied levels of technical expertise. That is why John McCain's 2008 campaign, both of Obama's campaigns, Mitt Romney's 2012 campaign, and Hillary Clinton's 2016 campaign all suffered data breaches.
Russia, China, and Iran are hacking US campaigns right now
Republicans and Democrats are increasingly victims of cyberattacks. Russia, Iran, China, and North Korea have already generated tens of thousands of attacks on American lawmakers in the early stages of the 2020 cycle.
Changes in behavior can prevent 95% of breaches
While cybersecurity threats have no silver bullet solutions, a range of technical and behavioral changes can dramatically reduce the likelihood of the success of both domestic and foreign attacks. The right training, in the right context, can make campaigns much more secure.
Foresight2020 is already the largest nonpartisan provider of live, personalized cybersecurity training for U.S. campaigns
Over 98% of candidates and campaign staff that take our training make at least one measurable change to their behavior to improve their safety. We have trained over 80 campaigns (mostly Congressional) and eight state parties so far.
Your gift can help us reach every campaign in the U.S.
Despite being the largest providers of this training, we've only reached about ~3% of federal campaigns.
Any amount helps
Times are tough for so many, and there are many wonderful organizations that could use your support. Whatever you can provide to Foresight2020 will have an immediate impact.
$1,000 can pay for a trip to train an entire state's congressional delegation and implement best security practices on their devices.
$500 can cover our logistical and legal costs from now until the election.
$250 will make the Russian, Chinese, and Iranian security forces really mad.
$100 can provide our virtual trainings for an entire month.
$50 allows us to onboard four new trainers to reach more campaigns.
$15 pays our Zoom costs for a month.
