Adele was diagnosed at birth with Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia (PCD). When we found out about her disease we decided that it would not define HER. She is a loving and spunky little girl that enjoys dancing, painting and doing gymnastics. She is such a blessing and we thank God for her daily. Unfortunately, there is not a cure for PCD, we do daily airway clearance therapy, see specialists on a regular basis, live proactively by exercising and provide a healthy living environment. Our hope is to raise awareness and funding to provide research for a cure. In PCD, impaired ciliary activity results in lifelong respiratory disease with chronic, debilitating infections of the lungs, sinuses and ears. Over time, chronic infection results in permanent damage to these areas and, in the case of the lungs, possible respiratory failure. Please help us raise money to find a cure For the Love of Adele!
