What would you do if you or a loved one came down with the flu right now, or God forbid something worse? You'd probably head to the hospital, the doctor's office, or even straight to the pharmacy. You probably don't have to travel further than the next town over to find help; you surely won't travel more than 100 miles away if you're in the developed world.
I'm currently attending medical school in the Caribbean where it's often difficult for children to find and afford the help they need. Fortunately, the World Pediatric Project (WPP) works to connect children in these difficult to reach places with the medical attention they need from world class physicians and surgeons. My school works to support the WPP, and I am trying to make my own personal effort with this fundraising campaign.
I've set an initial goal that allows even the smallest donation to help out a whole lot. Please consider making a donation; let's #HealAChild.
