The Covid 19 crisis has affected families in Chicago. Families are struggling to buy groceries in the midst of losing jobs, and due to the crisis, grocery store prices in Chicago are rising.
Because of this, families in our neighborhood are having a hard time providing essential needs for their children. Our organization is helping families survive by assisting with essential groceries such as milk and eggs, and supporting to pay for household bills.
Unfortunately government support is providing relief for some, but many other families are left out in the cold and need immediate relief to pay for food and other basic needs.
The money will be used to buy healthy food such as fresh fruit, vegetables, and milk. Our organization has 30 years of experience empowering families and children by providing education and other necessities such as food.
The donations will be used to purchase essentials for families and distributed through our organization.
Both one time donations or monthly donations are appreciated.
