For almost 10 years Daniel's Table has been working on a truly scalable solution to food insecurity issues. We believed, right from the beginning, that with the right combination of creativity, technology and facilities we could overcome the barriers that have limited Food Security success.
The challenges were daunting, How do we Discover who was in need? How do we Inform them of all the services available? How do we Provide highly nutritional foods to fill any gaps?
On top of that we had to make our sevices available on a flexable schedule and at multiple locations.
And finally our efforts had to match our longterm vision to provide nutritional meals, at the lowest cost, to as many people as possible.
Now ten years later we have a proven system and technology that we can hand off to cities and towns so they can follow our process. In response, cities and non profits are now reaching out to us with the desire to start their own programs. To fully implement this growth we need capital to improve our Food Security App.
This app controls our distribution, assists users, allows us to instantly send information about new or improved programs but most inportantly it works as a AAA card for Food Security.
Imagine you life is fine on day and then the next there is illness, job loss, etc. We built into our system an emergency button, that once pressed, allows access to food instantly!
Were do they get food instantly, you ask?
In our test city Framingham MA we have installed 25 freezers that are located in schools, community health centers, YMCA, public library , senior centers and family assistance centers. Food is available 18/7 SEE VIDEO!
Using our digital ID the App allows clients to access food on their schedule. To insure that the system is not abused we, through one-on-one conversations, work with our neighbor-in-need to determine the number of meals required per month and individualize a meal plan to fit that need.
With your help we can further develop the APP and add more features that will engage the community and make it easier for us to manage multiple cities as more and more communities get involved.
