Keep Zambian children healthy, safe and learning!
The Malalo Sports Foundation (MSF) is a sporting non-profit organization that has three simple goals:
- encouraging positive community behaviours,
- raising community awareness to poverty and HIV/AIDS,
- and providing hope to youth in the society.
Based in the Copperbelt Province of Zambia, the Foundation offers opportunities for young people to play sports and avoid high risk decision making.
Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, Zambia has been placed into lockdown to prevent the spread of the virus, which means that challenges of food supply have developed. Families are struggling to get food, and the Foundation needs funds to buy food supplements to help Zambian children from low-income households.
With 62% of Zambia's population living off of less than $2 a day, the food shelves are vulnerable to being depleted within a week. By donating 5$ today you can help to support a family of six for an entire day.
In addition, as schools will be reopened on June for examination classes, currently being the cold season in Zambia, the Foundation also needs safety equipment like masks, disinfectants and all the required measures to reopen the safest as possible.
We are asking people who can give to do so as generously and comfortably as possible; we have an opportunity to give the children their best fighting chance!
All donations on this page will go directly to the NGOs that have started this campaign: the Malalo Sports Foundation of Zambia (MSF) and the American Overseas Medical Aid Association (AOMAA).
If you can't make a donation at this point, help the MSF by sharing this page on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or Linkedin. Share the cause with your network of families, friends, and colleagues!
