Covid-19 emergency in Zambia pushes us to action!
The Coronavirus pandemic has modified unexpectedly everyone's lives to great extent. France, Europe, North America in particular are only now recovering from this pandemic and we are fortunate to have the means to continue on living despite sanitary restrictions. However, some in developing countries that are only now being hit by the coronavirus pandemic aren't so fortunate as to ensure continuity of food supply. That is why they need your help urgently!
Zambia has been hard hit by the Covid-19 pandemic, forcing the nation into lockdown in hopes to slow the spread of the virus. This has had numerous effects for people in Zambia, and it is especially worrying knowing that 62% of Zambia's population lives off of less than $2 a day (HabitatforHumanity, 2017) . As the sanitary crisis is ongoing in the country, an increasingly severe strain on the food supply is developing.
The Malalo Sports foundation (MSF) and the American Overseas Medical Aid Association (AOMAA) are two NGOs that are providing food supplements to the 800 people (700 children ages 5 to 17, and 100 elederly (65 and over) that are combined in this project.
They need your donations to carry out succesfully their mission!
