Please donate to the IFAM Folk Artist Opportunity Funds today to helps Folk Artists affected by COVID-19 disruptions.
Artists across the world have been disproportionately affected by COVID-19 disruptions. The International Folk Art Market has served as the vehicle for showcasing master folk artists for the past 17 years. In the wake of COVID-19, the organization has made the difficult, but necessary decision to cancel the 2020 International Folk Art Market Santa Fe and focus our efforts on 2021.
The IFAM Artist Opportunity Funds have been created by gifts from three generous donor families to provide immediate relief to artists. Please join us in building these funds!
The Lopez Artist Partnership Fund, dedicated to the 33 international artists selected to attend the 2020 International Folk Art Market for the first time.
The Owen/Giguere Artist Alliance encompassing all artists who have previously participated in the International Folk Art Market Santa Fe.
The Balzer Innovation Artist Fund, intended to further the work of the Innovation in Folk Art program presented by founding sponsors JoAnn and Bob Balzer, supporting those artists using their art in new and exciting ways to further the practices of their craft.
Your contribution will be used by IFAM to purchase art directly from Folk Artists that would have been exhibited and sold this July. When you donate, 80% of all proceeds will directly benefit Folk Artists and their families and 20% will be retained for organizational operations to assist in the implementation of these funds. Your gift will be shared equally across these funds for the greatest impact.
This allows IFAM to put funds quickly and directly in to the hands of the Folk Artists who are most vulnerable, while allowing us to sustain the organization during these unprecedented times.
Together, we can weather this storm.
