Jonglei Flood Victims
Atlanta, GA, USA

Last year around this time, a historic flood hit Jonglei State, South Sudan and devastated 60,000 homes leaving 400, 000 people to barely escape the impassable swamps. As a result of unprecedented flood, over 100,000 cattle have died and farms destroyed as water level continue to raise. And due to the unbelievable wreckage caused by the flooding, not only will these people find it impossible to return home for another 1-2 years, but also the water level continues to raise as we saw heavy rain that has already started early in April 2021.

In addition to the physical damage caused to homes and devastated livelihood, we are seeing outbreak of water borne diseases at a full swing while access to medical and basic needs is waning and famine emerges.

For these reasons and more, we are rallying a global support to rescue our community which is faced with longer than expected flood. We are calling well-wishers, even those who may not know the extent of damage caused by this unparalleled flood, to extend a loving hand and support our community as they relocate to high grounds in this time of desperate need.

Dear believers, it is evident in the Scriptures below that God spoke the worlds into existence solely by virtue of His own power, and utilizing nothing. Therefore, only through His virtue of His Own Power will this historic torrent come to end. Amen

(Hebrews 11:3) "Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear."   Psalms 93:3 – “The floods have lifted up, O LORD, the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift up their waves”
