DELIVERING HOPE & GROCERIES TO THE NEEDY AND HOMEBOUND IN GREATER NEW HAVEN.
FISH of Greater New Haven has served the Greater New Haven Community in various capacities for over 50 years. Since it's inception, FISH has refined its mission to deliver hope and groceries to food insecure homebound residents through the Grocery Delivery Program. We have been working closely throughout the Covid 19 crisis with New Haven's Coordinated Food Assistance Network (CFAN). In March CFAN launched Pantry to Pantry Program in response to the rapidly emerging and huge need for food assistance created by the pandemic. Pantry to Pantry's primary goal is to ensure that elderly and immunocompromised people, along with vulnerable households receive critical food assistance through home delivery, allowing them to shelter in place safely. FISH will be taking on Pantry to Pantry Program in September and we need your help. FISH needs a larger warehouse space to take on the Pantry to Pantry clients. The new space will greatly enhance the ability of the food network to acquire available food, store and distribute it. We are asking you to support those who are most vulnerable and in need of this critical program in the Greater New Haven community.
