We are taking steps to help Habitat for Humanity/7 Rivers Maine create successful homeownership opportunities for families with limited incomes by building sustainable housing and repairing and weatherizing existing homes by participating in the Spring Walk to Build!
Habitat coordinates the labor of volunteers with the generous donations of materials and financial gifts, and grants to improve the living conditions of partner families and those who are elderly and/or disabled and in need of home improvements.
Habitat for Humanity/7 Rivers Maine is an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, recognized worldwide for helping to improve housing conditions and home ownership opportunities for lower income families. The affiliate was founded in 1991, addressing the housing needs of people living in Lincoln and Sagadahoc Counties and the towns of Brunswick and Harpswell, Maine.
